On Friday 8th November, Speak Up! in Academia, 500WS and WiNS (Women in Natural Sciences) delivered the WEareshocked manifesto, accompanied by the list of endorsing organizations and signatories (over 1300, at the time), to Stephan Spiegel and Katharina Poiger from the ETH Schulleitung.
The assembly was attended by over 150 people and covered in the media through outlets including SRF, NZZ, Tagesanzeiger, and 20Minuten.
We hope that ETH management will take the time to seriously consider the demands raised and implement them in the near future. With growing attention being brought to these issues, it seems they cannot be ignored for much longer.
The petition is still open until the end of the week!
